Rascals Parents

As a parent, we are sure you want to know about the management and policies of Rascals Teen Center. Rascals has a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to ensure a safe atmosphere while still allowing the teenagers who utilize the Center to have fun. Rascals enforces its rules with the assistance of 10-12 volunteers and off-duty police officers.

The help of the volunteers and off-duty police officers ensures a healthy social environment where teens can build positive peer relationships in an alcohol and drug-free setting. Parents can help ensure a safe and enjoyable time by dropping off and picking up their children directly in front of the center. This helps the police officers and volunteers with crowd control. We do not allow admission into the building until 7:00 p.m. Please do not drop your teen off before 6:45 p.m. -- our security personnel do not come on duty until that time and staff is busy getting the volunteers in place and may not be watching the front door. Any child who is not picked up by 10:30 p.m. will be taken to the Justice Center.

Rascals Teen Center is the oldest continually operating teen center in the U.S. Since 1987, the Center has become an ideal place for teens to socialize and have fun in a controlled setting.
